if you're using google earth, you can upload pictures to panaromio and then put them up on google earth..

plus, i noticed that the mapmaker page itself has an option to point to photo URLs.. (in the edit box)

don't worry, the chances of your edits not being reviewed are very slim. Other users review your edits and you can review other people's edits too. Click on "My Mapmaker" and then "Moderate." You'll be shown nearby edits which you can either vote for or against.

what lf i Edit something and it never reviewed will it be appear on map search?? or who exactly review my edit.

not as far as I can see. You can however upload pictures to Picasaweb (at picasaweb.google.com) and geotag them there. Who knows Google might incorporate all that data together at some point.
